Oxy-trap™

The DET Oxy-trap™ DPF is a passively regenerating filter developed for the non-road market. Similar to our other passively regenerating DPF’s, the Oxy-Trap’s™ wash coat and precious metal catalyst coating have been specifically designed to take advantage of temperature profiles usually found during the duty cycle of a non-road vehicle.

The operating principles are the same as the Ultra-Trap™ DPF described earlier. The duty cycle requirements for the DET Oxy-trap™ are as follows:

· Peaks of min. 400°C
· Average min. 250°C
· Above 300°C for 30% of duty cycle (DC)
· Above 330°C for 15% of DC
· Above 375°C for 5% of DC
